On behalf of Thorpe Bay Yacht Club, I would like to thank the Leigh SC for an excellent Brass Monkey Race. Sadly, I was unable to attend. But those who did go, thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
I would also like to thank those Leigh SC members who ventured east, to our Frozen Sheets Race at Thorpe Bay. In particular the Rivers family who dominated the Laser class. Well done!
The Brass Monkey is becoming increasingly popular with TBYC members. We hope to return with greater numbers in 2009.
